Translator, copy-editor, proofreader and assistant director of the Centre for Himalayan Studies

After studying languages in England and France, she worked as a translator in various sectors of activity including orthopaedics, aeronautics, agronomy and electricity. Her first experience within the CNRS was in the Translation Department at the Institut d’information scientifique et technique (INIST) in Nancy. Her work at the Centre for Himalayan Studies involves translating books, articles, presentations from French into English and editing/proofreading texts that have been written in English by her French-speaking colleagues.
