In the morning we will have two working sessions on court cases that deal with animal welfare and animal rights. The cases will be presented by the lawyers who have argued them in court : Ritwick Dutta, from the National Green Tribunal in Delhi, and Vandana Misra, from the Himachal Pradesh High Court, in Shimla. In the afternoon session we will be showing some passages from the film “Unlocking the Cage” on Steven Wise’s “Non-Human Project”, which will be followed by a general discussion.
